Rosanna's Raiders formed in Melbourne in 1981.
Originally a rock covers band playing the mainstream circuit around Australia, the group rededicated their lives to God the following year becoming one of this country's first Christian rock acts.
Fronted by the red head Rosanna Palmer, the punchy rock trio played in concert halls, churches, prisons and schools around the nation, as well as toured the UK and Malaysia.
One of their songs Breakaway became a Top 10 hit on Christian rock radio in the US and garnered a Dove Award nomination.
Rosanna and Dave Palmer talk about the early days and their first steps to create contemporary praise and worship music with their offshoot, Power Praise.
